Pastor Dave and Tyra Laughlin

Pastor Dave and TyraPastor Dave and his wife Tyra, serve as the Senior Pastors of NCWOC. Possessing the heart of a true shepherd, Pastor Dave is a man of integrity and compassion and is a dynamic preacher and teacher of God's uncompromising Word.
He graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a double Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Finance and an Associate degree in Business Management from South Central College. He is also a graduate of Crown College with a B.S. in Theology/Pastoral Studies.

Pastor Dave has a vision to reach the Mankato region and to see revival sweep through this area. He sees prayer as the backbone and ‘power house' of the church and so confers much attention to it both personally and within the corporate body. He brings a fresh and inspiring real-life approach to living for Christ. He is the founder of Maranatha Christian Academy, educating children academically and spiritually from 2nd through 12th grade. He also established the New Creation School of Ministry which offers a course of study that trains lay people for effective involvement in the helps ministry of the local church and equips men and women for involvement in the five-fold ministry.

Pastor Dave met his wife, Tyra, in 1988, while in college. They both felt the call into full time ministry but had to wait to be set apart before pursuing full-time ministry. During his 10 years of working in sales, he worked in many ministry facets of the church serving as Worship Leader, Sunday School Teacher, Men's Ministry Director and others.

Pastor Dave and Tyra have a heart for families and seeing families train their children in the ways of God. They have six wonderful children: Joshua, Caleb, Eli, Zacharias, EmmaGrace and Rainah.


Pastor Cleon and Alita Laughlin

Cleon and AlitaPastor Cleon graduated from Bradley University in 1950 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Science. Sensing the urgent call of God on his life he laid down his desire and ambition to become a Medical Doctor and went to St. Paul Bible Institute (now Crown College) and graduated with a Bachelor of Theology in Missions. In 1987 he received his Master of Bible Theology degree from the International Bible Seminary. His academic gifting and desire to learn more spurred him on to further his studies. In 1990, he received his Doctorate Degree in Theology from the same Seminary.

Alita graduated from Rasmussen College with a Business degree in 1949 and in 1952 she graduated from St. Paul Bible Institute (now Crown College) with a degree in Christian Education.

They got married in 1952 and served as Youth Pastors for two years at Bethesda Church in Madison, Wisconsin. In 1955, they went to Papua New Guinea and pioneered a mission station and a Bible School there. They spent 12 years as missionaries in the interior of primitive Papua New Guinea where the Lord used them greatly to propagate the gospel. Through their hard work and dedication, the Lord has raised many missionaries and pastors in that part of the world which had never heard the gospel prior to their arrival.

After returning from New Guinea they started Trinity Church (now New Creation World Outreach Church) in 1967.

They have been very active in New Creation Church for the past 39 years.


Brother Sam and Edna Quartey

Sam and EdnaBrother Sam combines his academic training as a Scientist/Educationist with his gift and calling as a Teacher of the Bible to bring in-depth biblical expositions. His passion for the academics coupled with the enormous responsibility of full-time ministry, were not great incentives for him to respond easily to the call to full-time ministry. He pursued his academic aspirations until God finally arrested him. He joined NCWOC in January of 2003 whilst pursuing his graduate studies at Minnesota State University, Mankato. As God will have it, through his commitment, dedication, and faithfulness, he joined the Pastoral Staff after graduation. He serves as the senior Associate Pastor and Director of New Creation School of Ministry

In addition to possessing a few academic appellations, he has received seminary training from Berean School of the Bible at Global University in Springfield, MO and has also been involved in practical ministry in various capacities for many years. He's currently pursuing a graduate program in Ministry Leadership at Crown College.

He is passionate about prayer and desires to see the Church rise up in the Holy Spirit's power with the God-given mandate and responsibility to spark and maintain revival through prayer and fasting; and to see the Church mature through an amalgamation of wisdom and revelation.

He met his wife Edna, in 2001 whilst studying at the University of Ghana Medical School and got married in 2002. They have two beautiful children, Erin and Lemuel.


Brother Terrelle and Alison Wilson

Terrelle and AlisonTerrelle graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato, with a degree in Corrections. He pursued his career working at Dakota County Juvenile Detention Center and Olmsted County Juvenile Detention Center. In December of 2005, he joined Minnesota Teen Challenge as a full-time staff, working with the youth. His love for young people and humorous approach to ministry has resulted in numerous teens answering the call of God on their lives. He has a passion for the youth and has been involved with youth enrichment programs for many years.

Terrelle met his wife, Alison, in 2003, while attending the same University. They started attending New Creation, and shortly after became involved in mission trips with the youth. On July 8, 2006, Terrelle and Alison got married.

Alison is very passionate about the future of our young girls and endeavors to spend time with them to help them discover their God-given potential and become the ‘virtuous woman' of Proverbs 31. Terrelle is also skilled in the most youthful ministry sports such as basketball, football, baseball, water skiing and snow skiing. Their hearts' desire is to see the youth of the Mankato region restored to the Kingdom of God!

They serve on the Pastoral Staff as Youth Leaders and are both currently receiving Seminary training from Berean School of the Bible at Global University in Springfield MO. They are blessed with a beautiful daughter, Zoe.
